My comments:

This is the most comprehensive, beautifully written and illustrated book on the history of the U.S. Capitol building I have found to date. Not only does it cover the architectural history and design, it also chronicles the human stories behind its construction – from tales of bitter rivalries to stories of its masterful artists. And in the backdrop is national political turmoil spanning over decades. For DC politicals, this is a must-have coffee table book for your home or office.
