My comments:

This book gives an overview of the history of the Botanic Gardens, from George Washington’s conception of it to the modern day. It also describes the content of each room in the Conservatory, such as the Orchid Room and the Children’s Garden, illustrated with dozens of photographs. Note that the rooms have been slightly modified since the book was written. There are also sections on Bartholdi Park and the National Garden.
